And first of all, it's worth noting what we truly believe is the essence of our training - simplicity. Over the years as trainers we've been involved with hundreds of training programmes, many of which introduce complex models and try to replicate in great detail the organisation they are working with.
ZEN Coaching wants to push back on that a little. In fact, a lot. Because in our experience, the most useful moments, the ones that stay with delegates enough to be implemented on a daily basis, are the simple ones - the ones where a slight change in behaviour results in a far more productive conversation. And to do that, you don't need a 21-point model or 50 different personality types. You just need a very simple model that's easy and intuitive to remember and a practise scenario that looks at behaviour and doesn't get bogged down in the minutiae of a company's working environment. A simple scenario gives delegates the best opportunity to try things out and to see in real-time how it affects the person in front of them.
So this blog will be about those simple things to take away that can have maximum effect.
